You will design, implement, and optimize large-scale Java services for travel and transportation platforms, with a cloud-native focus and enterprise-grade architecture. You will mentor peers, own critical modules, and collaborate with product and SRE teams to ensure reliability, performance, and scalable delivery, while promoting engineering

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Expert knowledge in Java Core Multithreading.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Unix/Linux.
• Experience with noSQL/Couchbase.
• Experience with REST/JSON/XML/Web Services.
• Experience with JUnit/Unit Testing.
• Experience with Spring framework.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies (GCP).
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Demonstrate a winning culture.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug complex software solutions.
• Design and build prototype applications.

• Work closely with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our high-performing team developing modern, large-scale backend systems for the travel and transportation industry.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will lead a team in designing, implementing, and optimizing backend services and APIs that power mission-critical systems used by millions of travelers worldwide. You’ll play a key role in shaping system architecture, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability — while mentoring developers and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.

YOUR ROLE
