Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer in Poland to modernize existing platforms and deliver scalable backend solutions for pension and savings products. You will lead modernization efforts, upgrade to Java 17+/21 and Spring Boot 3.3.x, and collaborate with business stakeholders across international teams.

The role requires deep Java expertise, PostgreSQL proficiency, and experience with CI/CD and API specifications.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Senior Java Developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with modern Java ecosystems and migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead application modernization with Java 17+/Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.3.x.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for savings and investments.
• Build and enhance calculation engines ensuring tax compliance across countries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
