Job summary

Visa Hunt is looking for a Java backend developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs. You will work with SQL/NoSQL databases, integrate APIs, and implement security best practices across scalable web applications.

The role requires 4+ years of Java experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and English proficiency (B2). You may work remotely or in the office under a flexible, hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as Java Developer.
• Strong Java server-side programming skills.
• Experience with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• Back-end development experience in scalable web apps.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases; optimize schemas.
• Integrate third-party and custom APIs for frontend-backend communication.
• Implement security best practices and perform security audits.
