Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join one of our Agile squads working hybrid from Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa. You will design, implement, and deliver robust software with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and continuously improve engineering practices in a Scandinavian-inspired, English-speaking environment. The role emphasizes CI/CD, testing, and API integration within distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Gradle, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Oracle Database, Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience consuming and integrating API services.
• Good understanding of application testing principles.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contributor within one of our Agile teams.
• Develop robust, clean, and well-tested solutions using modern tools and technologies.
• Primarily work with your core technology stack while supporting other areas when needed.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements and drive the best technical solutions.
• Contribute engineering expertise throughout the design and implementation process.
• Participate in technology communities, development days, innovation sprints, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including negative test scenarios.
