Brightstar Lottery is seeking a Senior Back-end Software Engineer specializing in Java to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems for lottery solutions. You will build microservices, RESTful APIs, and work with DB2 and PostgreSQL in an international agile team.

The ideal candidate has strong Java 11 expertise, Hibernate, Spring Framework, and a passion for enterprise-grade software, mentoring peers and driving robust, high-performance applications.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with Java/J2EE stack.
• Strong knowledge of Java 11, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with relational databases DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• GIT for source control and collaboration.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices and scalable system design.
• Experience with unit/integration testing and performance optimization.

Mansioni

• Develop software ensuring security, scalability, and high performance.
• Document software, processes, and procedures related to implementation and maintenance.
• Work with relational databases such as DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to assigned coworkers.
• Participate in project management of backend solutions.
