Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring for a senior Java backend role in Warsaw, building a large-scale platform for a leading financial institution in the capital markets. You will work in a distributed team to modernize critical systems using cloud technologies, automation, and AI-assisted software development practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend Java experience.
• Knowledge of modern frameworks and microservices.
• Experience with containerization and cloud-native platforms.
• Familiar with CI/CD and source control processes.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a hybrid setting (office 3 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance cloud-based backend services for transaction platforms.
• Own selected components from architecture to production support.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate design and coding.
• Collaborate with business and ops teams to improve automation and efficiency.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.
