Job summary

Devire seeks a Senior Credit & Collections Specialist with Italian to join an international Order-to-Cash team in Wroclaw. You will manage credit and collection activities for the Italian market, monitor ageing, handle dunning, and support credit assessments within a global framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Credit & Collections or AR.
• Fluent Italian (C1 or higher) and English (B2 or higher).
• Good understanding of credit control, collections and AR processes.
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel; able to prepare reports and analyse financial data.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with system implementations or migrations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
• Proactive, independent and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit and collection activities for the Italian market.
• Monitor customer accounts, overdue balances and DSO.
• Perform regular customer follow-ups and document collection activities in the systems.
• Handle dunning processes, overdue invoices and escalation of problematic accounts.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries, payment issues and disputes.
• Support credit assessments, including review of customer risk and credit limits.
• Manage and monitor bad debt in line with company procedures.
• Ensure activities align with global credit policies and controls.
• Prepare regular reports on balances, ageing, collection performance and cash-flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounting and Finance to improve cash collection.
• Contribute to O2C procedures and process improvements.
• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Participate in SSC projects and system-related initiatives.
• Provide back-up to the Credit & Collections Supervisor.
