Job summary

JYSK is seeking a Senior IT System Administrator to ensure stable, secure, high‑performing IT infrastructure across our Distribution Centres in Europe. You will design system standards with IT Architects, lead VMware to Hyper‑V migrations, and strengthen security in server environments in line with HQ guidelines.

You will coordinate within the Logistics IT Server Administration Team, optimize performance, maintain high availability and SLA compliance, and drive patching and documentation for IT

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior IT System Administrator in complex IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell).
• Experience with VMware and knowledge of Hyper‑V, including migrations.
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate in English – minimum B2 level.
• Knowledge of Linux environments (advantage).
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), SLAs and root cause analysis (advantage).
• Experience with documentation, Microsoft Office and diagram tools (advantage).

As a Senior IT System Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure across our Distribution Centres.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Design and implement system standards together with IT Architects

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

We are looking for a structured and proactive IT professional who enjoys both technical challenges and coordination.

You bring:

Solid experience (3+ years) as a Senior IT System Administrator in complex IT environments

Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell)

Experience with VMware and knowledge of Hyper‑V, including migrations

Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate in English – minimum B2 level

It is an advantage if you also have:

Knowledge of Linux environments
