Drive the continuous improvement of global processes in Yard Management and adjacent logistics areas, advise on the design of logistics processes and develop IT-based solutions that support availability and quality targets.

What you'll do

• Drive the continuous improvement of global processes in Yard Management and adjacent logistics areas

• Advise on the design of logistics processes and develop IT-based solutions that support availability and quality targets

• Configure and customize the Yard Management System (YMS) and connected systems, while coordinating module, integration and user acceptance testing

• Define technical specifications for development, including standards, design patterns, test cases and scenarios

• Manage the lifecycle and update strategy of YMS-based solutions, identify relevant innovations, and support transformation in international teams across Knauf

Who you are

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, ideally combined with experience in Yard Management, shipping, transportation processes or related tools

• Strong interest in digitalization, high IT affinity, and broad enthusiasm for technology topics, ideally including logistics tools and technical concepts such as JSON as well as Postman workflows

• Strong communication skills combined with a proactive, responsible approach and the ability to guide colleagues and projects towards successful outcomes

• Familiarity with project management methods and tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and MS Project, with initial exposure to agile ways of working

• Fluent English language skills, plus willingness to travel occasionally to Knauf sites worldwide
