Sii Poland is seeking a Senior IT/OT Engineer to design and configure industrial network infrastructure and cybersecurity for BESS installations. You will work remotely, coordinating with a skilled team to deliver robust OT solutions and secure communications between customer systems and SCADA environments.

The role requires 5+ years in OT/Networking, strong OT cybersecurity, SCADA proficiency, FAT/SAT experience, and willingness to travel to Germany about once a month.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Senior IT/OT Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and configuration of industrial network infrastructure and cybersecurity for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) installations. In this role, you will ensure reliable and secure communication between our customers' systems and infrastructure, as well as SCADA and OT environments. You will work remotely, collaborating with a skilled team to deliver high-quality solutions. Your tasks

• Designing and configuring industrial network infrastructure for BESS installations
• Integrating IT/OT systems and SCADA environments to ensure seamless communication
• Conducting cybersecurity-related engineering to protect network infrastructure
• Performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to validate system performance
• Commissioning systems and providing technical troubleshooting support as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in OT / Networking within a power utility or related industry
• Strong expertise in OT cybersecurity and its application in industrial environments
• Proficiency in SCADA systems and their integration with IT/OT infrastructure
• Thorough knowledge of OSI layer models and experience in deploying network configurations
• Experience with FAT/SAT processes and commissioning of industrial systems
• Willingness to travel to Germany for business about once a month
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Knowledge of network protocols and industrial communication standards
