Sii Poland is seeking a Senior IT/OT Engineer to design and configure industrial network infrastructure and cybersecurity for Battery Energy Storage Systems, ensuring secure communication between customer systems and OT/SCADA environments.

You will work remotely with a skilled team, handling FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ongoing support. The role requires travel to Germany about once a month and fluent English; join a collaborative OT-focused engineering group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in OT/Networking within power utilities or related sectors.
• Strong OT cybersecurity expertise for industrial environments.
• Proficient in SCADA systems integration with IT/OT.
• Solid knowledge of OSI layers and network deployment.
• Experience with FAT/SAT and commissioning.
• Willingness to travel to Germany about once a month.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure industrial network infrastructure for BESS projects.
• Integrate IT/OT systems and SCADA environments for seamless communication.
• Conduct OT cybersecurity engineering to protect networks.
• Perform FAT and SAT to validate system performance.
• Commission systems and provide troubleshooting support as needed.
