DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Warsaw is seeking a Lead IT Expert – Technology & Processes to shape the IT strategy for contract logistics. You will design and govern technology standards, guide cross-functional teams, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions across infrastructure, software development, cloud platforms and integration patterns.

The role emphasizes process excellence, BPMN/ITIL alignment, and performance governance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead complex software development projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technology standards for Contract Logistics IT.
• Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud adoption, automation, and integration enhancements.
• Assess and scan existing solutions for technology compliance and migrate non-compliant tech.
• Ensure standard technology adoption for new solutions and tools used in Contract Logistics IT.
• Oversee global IT technology standards and drive adoption across teams.
• Report technology compliance and drive migration programs for non-compliant technologies.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for IT systems and operational technologies.
• Assess and improve IT processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality.
• Design, document, and maintain IT department processes (BPMN, ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000).
• Establish governance frameworks with KPIs and improvement cycles.
• Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to align requirements.
• Train employees on technologies and processes.
• Partner with tool owners to implement process changes.
