Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Warszawa is seeking an IT Senior Developer to design, develop and support critical business applications across their lifecycle. You will own end-to-end solutions, focusing on reliability, performance and maintainability while collaborating with product owners, QA and operations.

You will work in an Agile environment, using Kotlin for core components, and contribute to scalable, secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid experience in software development and maintenance of business applications.
• At least 3 years of experience with IT service management and incident management, preferably in a logistics environment.
• Experience working in Agile teams; DevOps experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Good understanding of business and IT processes.
• Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain complex, business-critical application and system components, Kotlin.
• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from requirements analysis to implementation and production support.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, including root-cause analysis.
• Support technical design decisions with focus on scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Review code and architecture to ensure quality, consistency and best practice standards.
• Identify technical debt, risks and improvement opportunities, and actively drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, operations and other IT teams.
• Mentor and support junior developers through coaching, code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge bases and operational runbooks.
