Job summary

Nordea is seeking an IT Analyst (Trading) – Senior/Expert to strengthen our Equity DevOps in Gdańsk. This full-time role focuses on supporting and improving production equity trading platforms used by trading desks, with a strong emphasis on automation and incident handling.

You will work closely with traders, developers and vendor support teams, ensuring smooth operation in a high-pressure, production-critical environment. Hybrid work is available with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business critical trading applications.
• Understanding of Order Management Systems / Electronic Trading
• Experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL or similar)
• Understanding of application lifecycle and production support
• Interest in automation and reducing recurring operational tasks
• Curiosity about how electronic and automated trading systems operate end to end

Responsibilities

• Manage and support production equity trading applications.
• Act as first point of contact for trading desks for issues.
• Handle complex incidents across multiple teams and tech areas.
• Follow Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Ensure system stability during high-volume market conditions.
• Maintain and extend monitoring, alerting and observability.
• Drive automation and operational improvements.
• Create and maintain operational/technical docs.
• Collaborate with traders, developers and vendors.
