Job summary

DCG is seeking an Equity Trading Analyst to support our client’s trading and operations teams. You will analyse current processes, map data flows, document requirements and collaborate with architects to validate feasible solutions.

This role focuses on stock trading lifecycles, post-trade processes, and bridging business and technology while supporting regulatory changes and data interfaces.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and process mapping experience.
• Ability to analyse complex operational workflows and business processes.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience facilitating workshops and interviews.
• Understanding of stock trading lifecycles.
• Knowledge of post-trade processes, safekeeping and account structures is highly desirable.
• Experience working with regulatory or market-driven change initiatives is beneficial.
• Able to understand application landscapes, integrations and data flows.
• Comfortable working with Solution Architects and technical teams.
• Understanding of APIs, interfaces and system interactions.
• Able to bridge business and technology discussions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current business processes, workflows, rules and operating models.
• Map current-state processes, applications, integrations and data flows.
• Document business requirements, functional gaps and country-specific variations.
• Compare existing solutions with the desired target state and identify required changes.
• Facilitate workshops with business SMEs, operations teams and application teams.
• Drive gap analysis between current and target processes.
• Transform findings into structured requirements, user stories and solution recommendations.
• Support definition of target processes and operating models.
• Work closely with Solution Architects and application teams to validate feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Support impact assessments across Order Management, Trade Processing, Settlement and Safekeeping domains.
• Document decisions, assumptions, dependencies and risks.
• Prepare material for architecture reviews, governance forums and programme stakeholders.
