emagine is seeking a Senior IT Analyst to bridge business and IT, translating strategies into technical requirements and ensuring traceability throughout development. You will collaborate with architects, developers, testers, business, and legal to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes strong English communication and experience with Jira/Confluence in a hybrid, multi-site environment in Poland. You will support the team with end-to-end validation and stakeholder insights.

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: banking
• Work model: hybrid (3/week in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warsaw, or Łódź)
• Rate: up to 130 PLN/h netto + VAT (B2B)

Summary:

The Senior IT Analyst role primarily focuses on bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the IT team by translating business strategies into detailed technical requirements, facilitating requirements traceability, and ensuring the quality of solutions developed within the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies in alignment with sustainable solutions.
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by cooperating with various stakeholders (e.g., architects, developers, testers, business, legal).
• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for the IT team.
• Secure requirements traceability during smooth end-to-end development.
• Be responsible for requirements documentation (including use cases) and quality improvement.
• Support testers and developers in the team and hub.
• Verify developed solutions by conducting test results.
• Provide insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in IT and/or business analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with familiarity in international collaboration.
• Experience in using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience or knowledge of API development, Data Mapping, and Process Modelling.
• Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain.
• Practical knowledge of SQL, and user interface prototyping and design.
• Knowledge of architecture diagrams, such as sequence diagrams.
• Solid technical knowledge for effective collaboration with developers.
• Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
• Practical knowledge of REST/SOAP API.
