Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to drive organic search across international markets, with Germany as a core market, and to scale AI-powered discovery. The role emphasizes independent execution, cross-functional influence, and hands-on work in both content and technical SEO.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on SEO experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.
Fluent in German and English with ability to evaluate German-language search behavior and content quality.
Experience executing both content and technical SEO including crawling, indexing, rendering, internal linking, and structured data.
Hands-on experience with AI-powered discovery, including visibility, retrieval, and recommendations across LLMs and answer engines.
Experience managing SEO across multiple countries, languages, or regional markets.
Hands-on experience applying AI-powered automations or agentic workflows using LLMs, agents, APIs, or automation tools.
Strong analytics skills with GA4, Google Search Console, Snowflake, and industry-standard SEO/AEO tools.
Strong experience running experiments, prioritizing opportunities, and independent initiative.

Responsibilities

Execute and contribute to international SEO and AEO strategy across Germany, UK, ANZ and Tier-2 markets; track visibility, traffic, MQLs and pipeline influence.
Lead German-language organic work including keyword/intent analysis and content opportunities; collaborate with Content, Localization, Regional Marketing and Product Marketing.
Develop and implement AI-powered automations and agentic workflows to scale research, content optimization, localization, QA, monitoring, and reporting.
