Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman in Kraków is hiring a Fixed-term Audit Manager to lead audit projects, supervise teams, and drive risk-based assurance. You will draft reports, guide staff, and collaborate with management to strengthen control environments.

The role requires 8+ years of auditing experience in financial services, a relevant degree, and professional certifications are a plus. The incumbent will coordinate with external auditors and contribute to the annual audit plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional auditing experience (external/internal) in financial services.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, IT or related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CAMS, ACCA) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial services products, services and governance.
• Leadership and ability to guide a team in line with IIA standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise audit project teams, draft audit reports and ensure audit deliverables' quality.
• Coach/train staff and provide timely feedback to the Senior Audit Manager.
• Perform risk assessment, develop evaluation/testing techniques and plan audits.
• Complete planning documentation for audits and align with internal policies.
• Gather data, identify risks and controls, and deliver high-quality results.
• Draft reports with root cause, risk impact and actionable recommendations.
• Communicate results to management and participate in annual audit planning.
