Empat in Warsaw is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence. You will own complex automation and full-stack solutions from concept to production, using Python, cloud, data, and AI to improve business workflows.

You will set engineering standards, mentor developers, and collaborate with global teams in a hybrid Warsaw environment, with opportunities to shape architecture and drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering or a similar field.
• Advanced Python with production-grade experience.
• Full-stack experience across UI, application logic, APIs & data.
• Experience with APIs, data platforms and cloud development.
• Automated testing, CI/CD, secure development and observability.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong communication in English in global, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex automation and digital apps from concept to production.
• Build full-stack solutions across UIs, workflows, APIs, data and cloud.
• Design on AWS, APIs, Snowflake, and Power Platform.
• Turn business needs into technical solutions using the right approach.
• Apply AI, generative AI and agents where they add value; modernize legacy apps.
• Own security, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation and governance.
• Define reusable components and engineering standards; mentor developers via reviews.
