Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC in the Mid-Atlantic region seeks a Senior Security Consultant – Identity & SecOps to lead identity‑focused engagements for a remote client base across NC, VA, MD, DC, DE, PA and NJ, with up to 20% travel. You will design, implement, and mature Entra ID/AD and IAM controls while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in cybersecurity consulting with deep IAM and SecOps experience, strong presales and communication skills, and ETZ availability to collaborate

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity consulting, engineering, or architecture with project ownership.
• Hands-on IAM, Entra ID/AD, and M365 security experience.
• Experience with CAP, MFA, SSO, RBAC, PIM, PAM, and Zero Trust.
• Experience supporting SecOps functions (SIEM/SOC/ITDR).
• Strong customer-facing and presales skills; ability to lead conversations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple engagements.
• Eastern Time Zone availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver identity-focused engagements from scoping through final deliverables.
• Assess, design, and improve Entra ID/AD environments; CAP assessments.
• Design PKI and certificate lifecycle controls; advise on identity governance.
• Support SecOps initiatives including SIEM, ITDR, and threat hunting.
• Mentor junior consultants and support presales activities as trusted advisor.
• Produce high-quality customer deliverables and documentation.
