Job summary

Arup in Poland is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design packages across the full project lifecycle, from brief through commissioning. You will design HVAC systems in a BIM environment and mentor engineers, coordinating with architects, clients, and contractors on data centre and science/industry projects.

Polish licensure for design and strong German communication are valued. This is a growth-focused role in a global, learning-driven firm offering international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Services Engineering and Polish licensure for design or progressing toward chartership.
• Deep knowledge of Polish and EU standards/regulations related to mechanical services.
• Experience leading mechanical design teams on complex projects like data centres and science/industry facilities.
• Strong German communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of mechanical design packages across the full project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects, discipline experts, clients, contractors, authorities, and public services to maintain progress.
• Design HVAC systems in a BIM environment.
• Review contractors' design submissions, procedures, and schedules for compliance.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and coach the team to high standards.
• Contribute to proposals and technical leadership to win new work.
