Job summary

Enery is seeking an experienced HSE professional to serve as the focal point for renewable energy projects in Poland and the Baltic region, ensuring compliance with local and European regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.

You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency planning, and training, while monitoring contractor HSE performance and driving continuous improvement across a regional footprint. English and Polish fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Health & Safety, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy, or another relevant technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in HSE and/or ESG roles, within onshore wind, renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
• Experience implementing and maintaining HSE management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Experience conducting HSE and/or ESG audits and inspections; ESG consultancy or advisory role is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Polish; knowledge of IFR, GRI, EBRD standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the HSE focal point for renewable energy projects and assets in Poland and the Baltic region, supporting the CEE region as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local and European HSE legislation, policies, and Group standards; promote a culture of health, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and maintain HSE risk assessments, review method statements and safe systems of work, and ensure timely mitigation.
• Drive incident prevention by identifying hazards, reporting near misses, investigating incidents, and closing corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans and coordinate drills.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance including prequalification, inductions, audits, and monitoring for contractual compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver HSE training and awareness initiatives across teams.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and compliance reviews with continuous improvement in mind.
• Monitor, analyse, and report HSE performance using KPIs and provide insights to management.
