AECOM is recruiting a Principal Engineer – Highways (Projektant Drogowy) to join our Linear Infrastructures team in Krakow. You will lead highway design from feasibility to detailed design, collaborating across disciplines on diverse projects for public and private clients.

You’ll apply global standards, guide junior engineers, and drive quality on schedule and budget while navigating a hybrid work setup in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with highway design and international standards.
• Proficient in CAD tools such as MicroStation/AutoCAD and highway design software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review highway design deliverables and geometry.
• Coordinate design with drainage, structures, utilities and traffic teams.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and applicable standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project QA.
