Job summary

GMV Spain is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer for GNC to lead design, verification, and integration of GNC payloads and components for ESA missions with commercial clients. You will coordinate subcontractors, drive PCB prototyping, testing, and optimization to meet stringent space-grade requirements.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Electronics engineering or similar.
• Fluency in written and oral English.
• Knowledge of electronics and PCB terminology.
• Proficiency in using PCB design software (e.g., AltiumDesigner, Eagle).
• Understanding of multilayer PCB design principles including EMC aspects.

Responsibilities

• Develop GNC hardware and components for ESA and clients.
• Coordinate subcontractors for prototyping, design and production of GNSS receivers and related products.
• PCB prototype design and layout execution.
• Testing and verification to ensure design correctness and conformance to specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during product development.
• Optimize designs for performance, cost efficiency and manufacturability.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will develop a variety of projects for the European Space Agency (ESA). You will be the key technical reference within the team,developing part and entire GNC systems for ambitious missions for ESA and commercial clients. The work consists of the design, verification and integration of GNC Payloads / Components.

The scope of work:

• Coordinate subcontractors for the prototyping, design andproduction of GNSS receivers and other potential products within the GNCdivision
• PCB prototype and Design.
• Testing and Verification: Checking designs for errors,functionality, and compliance with specifications (prototype testing).
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and eliminating faults duringproduct development, often in close collaboration with engineers.
• Optimization: Improving designs for performance, costefficiency, and ease of manufacturing.

The main application scenarios are GNC components,navigation modules, on-board computer components and payloads.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

The following requirements apply for the position:

• M.Sc. in Electronics engineering or similar
