Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join the ControlLogix Engineering team in Katowice. You will develop advanced automation control systems across the hardware lifecycle, from circuit design to validation and manufacturing readiness, working hands-on with prototypes in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Requires engineer's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 3–5 years of electronics hardware design experience at PCB level.
• Experience delivering hardware systems through full lifecycle: architecture, design, validation, manufacturing release, sustaining.
• 3–5 years designing complex digital systems with MCUs, DDR memory, Ethernet PHY/MAC, and ASIC/FPGA implementations.
• Hands-on schematic capture and multilayer PCB design with signal- and power-integrity analysis.
• Strong ability to review and troubleshoot hardware designs and balance performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Design digital hardware within an agile team: schematics, components, verification support.
• Work with hardware prototypes: program devices, measure signals, debug issues, validate changes.
• Analyze hardware problems at board and system level during development and sustaining.
• Prepare and maintain hardware design docs and test results; work on processor or networking subsystems.
• Collaborate with firmware, test and manufacturing engineers for product integration.
• Share technical knowledge with team members in regular engineering work.
