Invia x Travelplanet.pl x Wakacje.pl is seeking a seasoned software developer to own and migrate a critical internal system. You will build expertise to support long-term maintenance and work across teams in a large European travel group.

Expect involvement in an in-house platform delivering hotel data, photos, and reviews, and in optimizing performance, costs, and data pipelines while leveraging AI tools for content. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a software developer.
• 4+ years with Go.
• Experience across full software delivery lifecycle.
• Familiarity with multiple architecture types and data structures.
• ETL-based systems on large-scale projects.
• Cloud: AWS; Orchestration: Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines; basic DevOps.
• REST API and gRPC experience.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Daily use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop an in-house platform delivering hotel data, photos, and reviews across the customer journey.
• Monitor and improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Reduce costs and technical debt to optimize operations.
• Retrieve and transform data from multiple sources.

This is a key role in our 3 brands collaboration: you'll take ownership of a critical internal system currently transitioning between teams, building deep expertise to support its migration and long-term maintenance.

What lies ahead on your journey:

• Development of an in-house platform delivering hotel data, photos, and reviews across the customer journey.
• Monitoring and improving platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Reducing costs and technical debt to optimize system operations.
• Retrieving and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Working with LLMs to generate personalized, SEO-aligned content.

What to pack in your suitcase:

• 6+ years as a software developer, including 4+ years with Go
• Full software delivery lifecycle experience (analysis through production support)
• Familiarity with multiple architecture types and solid grasp of data structures
• Best practices in building ETL-based systems, on large-scale projects
• Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, basic DevOps knowledge
• Practical experience with REST API and gRPC
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Daily practical use of AI tools

Your extra baggage of experience:

• Potential to grow into a Technical Lead Manager role
• Cloud resource optimization knowledge
• Redis (or similar)
• Kibana, Grafana, DataDog
• Track record optimizing performance on high-traffic platforms
