Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Risk & Payment Platform) to join a high-impact, global engineering team. You will design and implement high-scale backend capabilities for a next-generation risk platform, maturing the codebase and development processes within an Agile Scrum environment.

You will own features end-to-end across high-throughput distributed systems built on Golang, Java, or Python, focusing on reliability, availability, low latency, and strong data consistency.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more server-side languages (Golang, Java, or Python).
• Experience with REST and gRPC API design and integration.
• Track record building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from design to production deployment.
• Develop microservices using Golang, Java, or Python with REST/gRPC.
• Build scalable, high-availability distributed services with low latency.
• Collaborate with Product, Solution Architects, and engineers on data-driven risk tools.
• Monitor risks and report progress to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and advance CI/CD and Agile practices.
