Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Risk & Payment Platform) to build high-scale backend systems for an enterprise risk platform. You will own features end-to-end, and work with Golang, Java, or Python to ensure reliability, latency targets, and data consistency in a fast-paced Agile Scrum environment.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Solution Architects, driving architectural decisions, CI/CD practices, and development standards while mentoring junior engineers in

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in at least one major server-side language: Golang, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating server-to-server APIs using REST and gRPC.
• Proven track record building, scaling and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Demonstrated CI/CD mindset with automated testing and modern deployment pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end—from specifications to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop backend software and microservices using Golang, Java, or Python.
• Use REST and gRPC for high-performance server-to-server communication.
• Build and optimize highly available, low-latency distributed services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to design data-driven risk capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to CI/CD and Agile practices.
