Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Senior/Lead Go Developer to contribute to an open source engagement around Kueue, a Kubernetes-native solution to run and manage batch workloads on clusters. You will act as both an open source contributor and SRE, expanding features such as multi-cluster dispatching, topology-aware scheduling for AI/ML workloads, and deeper integrations (ray.io).

Hybrid by design with remote work options within Poland; opportunities for relocation and international collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes, including CRDs and controller-runtime.
• Proficiency in Go and cloud native architecture.
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and design solutions for the Kueue-based workloads.
• Take ownership of implementation and open source contributions.
• Communicate effectively with official Kubernetes SIG channels and teams.
• Collaborate with upstream teams to expand Kueue's feature set.
