We seek a Senior Backend Engineer (Go) to drive platform performance, scalability, and new capabilities in a demanding, high-load environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in backend software development with Go.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience building and operating high-performance, low-latency backend services.
• Proven ability to analyze bottlenecks and resolve scalability challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with Product and engineering teams.
• Curiosity to understand the business problems solved by the systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services in Go.
• Analyze and optimize distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and ML teams to integrate data-driven capabilities into bidder workflows.
• Work with Product Managers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code; participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Oversee features from concept to production and resolve performance issues.
