Job summary

Bonapolia is seeking a Senior Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend services for a high-load fleet management platform used in ride-hailing across multiple countries.

You will drive architecture, implement scalable Go services, and participate in code reviews, monitoring, and production maintenance. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong Go and SQL skills, Redis caching, Docker/Kubernetes, gRPC, and Russian language proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering in production environments.
• Strong Go expertise including concurrency and lifecycle management.
• Experience building high-load distributed systems.
• Recent product development with complex business logic.
• Strong SQL and data modeling (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Caching strategies with Redis.
• Inter-service communication via gRPC and messaging.
• Microservice architectures and client-server patterns.
• Observability with metrics/logging/tracing.
• Knowledge of SLA, SLO, and SLI.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud platforms.
• Maintainable, tested code with Git workflows.
• Russian language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services according to business needs.
• Lead architectural discussions and technical research for new features.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce standards.
• Write clean, well-tested code following company guidelines.
• Own backend services lifecycle from delivery to production monitoring.
• Set up observability infrastructure including dashboards, tracing, and alerts.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices.
• Participate in Agile practices.
