Job summary

XTB, a fintech group, seeks an experienced risk leader to advance the Group risk framework and partner with the board. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be the CRO’s senior delegate for day-to-day leadership of the Group risk function across the international footprint.

You will lead specialist teams, shape risk processes, and ensure risk management evolves with scale and complexity. This role demands deep technical risk expertise, strong business judgment, and people leadership

Qualifications

• Significant experience in risk management within a regulated financial institution.
• Proven leadership of specialist risk teams.
• Experience coordinating risk processes across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Ability to challenge at senior management level with credibility.

Responsibilities

• Group-wide oversight of risk management across XTB and subsidiaries.
• Oversee capital adequacy and prudential processes incl. ICAAP/ICARA.
• Ensure prudential reporting alignment across entities.
• Provide strategic direction for financial risk management and market risk.
• Direct development of financial risk models and valuation methodologies.
• Lead and develop risk professionals and teams across the group.
• Support ERM framework development including risk appetite and governance reporting.
• Assess material new products for risk and capital implications before implementation.
