Job summary

Lingarogroup is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to maintain and develop comprehensive Data Engineering platforms. The role focuses on building scalable, reusable solutions deployable across multiple countries and business environments within the project framework.

You will design modules using advanced Python, leverage AWS services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Lambda), and work in an Agile environment to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python programming with data manipulation (Pandas).
• Strong OOP and modern Python practices.
• Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Lambda).
• Cloud architecture understanding, especially AWS-based solutions.
• Agile software development experience and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• 5–10 years of data engineering experience on global or regional projects.
• CI/CD, version control, and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Data Engineering platforms using AWS native stack.
• Build generalized modules reusable across countries and business settings.
• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Identify root causes in data pipelines and implement robust fixes across AWS services.
• Ensure code quality, testing, and deployment efficiency using modern tooling.
