Job summary

Globaldev Group seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve scalable data infrastructure supporting analytics, AI workloads, and product applications.

You will work on large-scale data pipelines, data lake evolution, and ingestion; collaborating with platform teams to ensure reliability, performance, and governance. Strong Python/SQL and Snowflake experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Platform/Infra Engineer.
• Experience with Data Lake architectures and scalable data infrastructure.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale data processing on Kubernetes with KEDA.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with data orchestration platforms like Airflow or Prefect.
• Experience with Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Build high-volume batch and near real-time ingestion services and evolve streaming capabilities.
• Design and implement data solutions in a distributed microservices environment.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines for batch and streaming use cases.
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes infra, using KEDA for dynamic scaling.
• Own the data stack lifecycle from provisioning to app-level frameworks with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Provide technical guidance on infra best practices, CI/CD, testing, and system design.
• Analyze memory management and performance to ensure cost-efficiency and speed.
