Job summary

Arbex in Kraków is seeking a Senior General Accounting Consultant to lead complex monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, partnering with local and outsourced teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across borders in a multinational environment.

You will drive process improvements, develop standard work, support internal and external audits, and contribute to risk controls while maintaining high data quality.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in accounting and reporting within a multinational organisation.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, influencing, coordination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with accounting teams across Arbex and our outsourced business partners to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Providing oversight and coordination of outsourced Record-to-Report team members
• Supporting month-end close activities across areas including revenue, cost of sales, accrual management, standard costing, and financial accounting
• Reviewing management results for assigned entities and supporting profit and loss accounting related to business projects
• Developing standard work documentation, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthening accounting processes and controls
• Supporting internal and external audit requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to obtain critical financial information
