Job summary

Bausch & Lomb GmbH in Warsaw is seeking a GL Accountant to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within our Shared Service Center, primarily supporting the Iberia region and overseeing the Record to Report functions.

The role requires close collaboration with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax and Treasury, with a hybrid work model offering 2 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• MA in accounting, finance or relevant field.
• 3 - 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English required.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily input of financial data into the general ledger and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to internal control framework and GAAP requirements.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries and verify transactions.
• Conduct month-end, quarterly and year-end close processes with accruals.
• Perform reconciliations of all general ledger accounts during month-end.
