Job summary

Cognizant Poland is seeking a Senior GIS Tools Specialist to help design, implement and maintain data-excellence systems for flagship Geo offerings. You will act as a technical consultant, guide production tool transitions, and shape operational workflows across engineering and operations teams.

The role focuses on automating spatial ETL, building new tools and dashboards, and deploying AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and data quality. Excellent communication is required.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years' experience with large-scale geographic data products.
• Strong ArcGIS/ESRI experience and data pipeline integration.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; frontend scripting is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI capabilities, prompt engineering and cloud tooling.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software and tool issues across products.
• Advise Geo teams, remove technical hurdles and guide stakeholders.
• Define bug reporting, tracking, and ensure rapid resolution communication.
• Plan tool updates, assess risks, and coordinate releases worldwide.
• Lead testing and write high-quality code for tools and dashboards.
• Build integrations with RESTful endpoints and backend services.
