Qualifications

• Master in STEM field or equivalent postgraduate STEM degree with 6+ years as Lead Data Architect/Engineer
• 5–10 years of experience in data management or data architecture with enterprise-scale impact
• Expert in SQL and data modeling techniques
• Experience with data catalogs and metadata management tools (Collibra, DataHub, Atlas)
• Advanced knowledge of analytics, AI/ML and BI spaces
• Experience with Data Platform and Data Mesh paradigm in mid to large enterprises
• Ability to mentor data architects/engineers and answer business questions to management
• Regular communication with project stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and test data models in data products driving reusability across the organization
• Foster reuse, scale, stability, and operational efficiency of data solutions
• Provide technical support for data product teams building new data products
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Product Owners to translate problems into data solutions
• Define master data, data ontologies, and metadata management for data products and platform components
• Coordinate with Data Governance to enforce data quality and regulatory compliance
• Mentor associates and other data professionals on architecture standards and practices
