Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Lead GCP DevOps Engineer to drive Google Cloud Platform solutions, shape architecture and provide strategic oversight for cloud-native transformations. You will guide teams, manage complex deployments and establish scalable, reliable processes.

This role is offered under a standard employment contract with hybrid requirements. You will work with a team to deliver advanced cloud architectures and AI-enabled tooling across client projects in Poland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or related roles.
• GCP services such as GKE, CloudBuild, Secrets Management, Container Registry.
• Experience managing HA, scalability and security for k8s clusters and cloud apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements clarification and project scope.
• Guide customers to align projects and ensure success.
• Adapt customer apps to a cloud-native framework.
• Define and implement DevOps practices including CI/CD and IaaC.
• Architect and optimize cloud apps for scalability and reliability.
• Oversee GCP deployments, identity, networking, security and billing.
• Document technical decisions and processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud apps and Kubernetes clusters.
• Mentor team members through knowledge-sharing sessions.
