Job summary

Xebia is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and evolve enterprise-scale GCP platforms. You will implement secure landing zones, governance, and automation, while driving CI/CD pipelines and SRE practices across global teams.

Applicants should have 7+ years in cloud or platform engineering, deep GCP knowledge, and strong Terraform skills. EU work permit and regional work experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or cloud architecture.
• Strong hands-on GCP expertise with IAM, VPC, GKE, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Advanced Terraform skills and experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security, governance, networking, SRE, and enterprise-scale production environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, combining strategy with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Designing and evolving enterprise-scale GCP platforms with secure landing zones and cloud foundations.
• Defining cloud architecture standards, governance, and security best practices.
• Driving Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and reusable modules, with automated provisioning.
• Enabling scalable CI/CD pipelines, platform automation, and improved developer experience.
• Implementing SRE principles to improve reliability, observability, and operations excellence.
• Leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
