Job summary

Xebia is seeking a Security Architect to strengthen cloud and application security across Azure and hybrid environments in the EU. You will drive Security by Design, coordinate tests, and embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with various teams to reduce risk and elevate security maturity.

Ideal candidates have hands-on cloud security, strong stakeholder skills, and relevant certifications; English fluency is required. Work from the EU region with a valid work permit.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Cloud Security and Application Security.
• Hands-on in securing Microsoft Azure environments and workloads.
• Experience with hybrid on-premises and Azure integration.
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices and Well-Architected Framework.
• Security by Design adoption across cloud and application environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps integrations into development pipelines.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to translate security topics into business language.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, SC-100, or AWS Security Specialty are a plus.
• Fluent English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the security posture of cloud-based SaaS and on‑premises services.
• Organize and coordinate penetration tests, code scanning, and pipeline security assessments.
• Identify security gaps and help teams prioritize remediation.
• Establish standardized minimum security requirements across products and development teams.
• Drive adoption of Security by Design principles across cloud and application environments.
• Define and improve cloud security practices for Azure-based and hybrid environments.
• Integrate security controls into development and CI/CD processes.
• Support development of a security roadmap and drive continuous improvements.
