Job summary

11 bit studios S.A is seeking a Senior Gameplay Programmer to join a Warsaw-based team. You will design and implement gameplay systems in C++ and Unreal, collaborating with designers, animators, and artists while focusing on modular, high-performance code.

The role requires shipping at least one title and strong Unreal Engine expertise; the position supports hybrid work from our Warsaw office and offers broader opportunities to shape gameplay direction on a new IP.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional programming experience.
• At least one shipped game title.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or similar.
• Solid understanding of game engine architecture.
• Ability to profile and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems and mechanics in C++ and Blueprints.
• Collaborate with designers, animators, and artists during prototyping and production.
• Architect modular gameplay systems with performance and readability in mind.
• Participate in task estimation, risk assessment, and production planning.
• Profile CPU/memory usage and debug complex gameplay logic issues.
• Develop and maintain custom Unreal Editor tools/plugins to support production.
• Work with UI/UX designers and 2D artists to implement UI logic.
