Job summary

CD Projekt Red in Warsaw seeks a Senior Gameplay Animator for a 2-year fixed-term contract. You will collaborate with gameplay designers, programmers and technical animators to craft lifelike in-game animations for player and horse characters.

The role requires strong motion capture and keyframe animation skills, plus expertise in animal locomotion biomechanics and at least one released game title. Hybrid work with on-site presence in Warsaw is offered, with relocation support possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with motion capture data and key-frame animation.
• Strong understanding of animal locomotion biomechanics, especially horse movement.
• Production experience in games with at least one released title.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-game animations using Maya, MotionBuilder and Unreal Engine.
• Establish animation asset creation workflows and engine-related structures.
• Co-develop motion matching systems, blendspaces, animation graphs and procedural setups.
• Collaborate with Gameplay Designers, Programmers and Technical Animators.
