Job summary

Team Up Recruitment in Poland is seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to build and evolve large-scale systems across backend Java/Spring and frontend React.

You will work in distributed teams on microservices, REST APIs and CI/CD with Docker/Kubernetes, emphasizing testing, performance and code quality. The role also values collaboration, pair programming, and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong fullstack experience across backend and frontend.
• At least 4 years of frontend development, primarily with React.
• Strong Java skills with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and REST APIs.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability and performance.
• Hands-on testing experience with TDD/BDD.
• CI/CD and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Technical or Computer Science education.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to work closely with other engineers, including extensive pair programming.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer who is equally comfortable working on backend and frontend development. You will build and evolve large-scale systems and contribute throughout the engineering lifecycle - from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• developing backend services in Java and frontend applications in React,
• designing and building microservice-based solutions and APIs,
• contributing to architectural decisions and evaluating technical trade-offs,
• working with distributed systems with a focus on scalability, resilience and performance,
• writing automated tests and applying TDD/BDD practices,
• contributing to CI/CD processes and production readiness,
• working extensively in a pair programming model,
• using AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, refactoring and code review,
