Job summary

Reply is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus in Python to design and scale digital solutions within the insurance domain. You will own backend services and system design, while contributing to frontend applications where needed, building robust APIs and integrations with cloud-based distributed systems.

The role emphasizes architecture discussions, performance, security, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend-focused fullstack development.
• Strong backend expertise in Python and experience building scalable APIs and services.
• Solid experience with Angular and/or React for frontend development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, system integration, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with cloud environments (preferably Azure) and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and collaborate across teams.
• Strong communication skills in English, with experience in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, making architectural decisions and evaluating trade-offs.
• Build and maintain frontend applications using Angular or React, ensuring usability and integration with backend systems.
• Design and evolve end-to-end solutions supporting insurance processes and workflows.
• Lead API design and system integration, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based, distributed applications.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decisions, and best practices across the stack.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements.
