Qualifications

• Expert-level Python with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise and performance tuning.
• Experience building scalable APIs and services.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate reliable, scalable APIs and services in Python with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Lead architectural changes to simplify systems and improve data modeling, boundaries, and migrations.
• Collaborate with DevOps on pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions; promote trunk-based development.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with Frontend, Mobile, UX, and Product to shape APIs and improve developer experience.
• Mentor engineers through feedback, pairing, and design reviews; contribute to knowledge sharing.
