Job summary

BELVEDERE in Wrocław is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer to help modernise key digital platforms for financial advisors and clients across the Americas. You will work across backend Java 8 and Spring Boot, and frontend React/TypeScript, building REST/GraphQL APIs and migrating legacy systems to modern architectures using cloud technologies and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of full-stack engineering experience across backend and frontend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8 and Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
• Experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of REST and GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Understanding of Docker containerisation and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot for client and advisor journeys.
• Build responsive web applications with React, TypeScript and JSP following modern frontend practices.
• Modernise legacy Struts 1.1 applications by migrating to contemporary frameworks.
• Create REST and GraphQL APIs enabling integration across web, mobile and backend systems.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for scalable business processes.
• Establish automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines for quality delivery.
• Deploy containerised workloads with Docker across AWS, GCP and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX teams and mobile engineers on feature delivery.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity.
