Job summary

BELVEDERE in Wrocław is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer to help modernise key digital platforms for financial advisors and clients across the Americas. You will work across backend Java 8 and Spring Boot, and frontend React/TypeScript, building REST/GraphQL APIs and migrating legacy systems to modern architectures using cloud technologies and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of full-stack engineering experience across backend and frontend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8 and Spring Boot framework.

Position Overview

As a Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer, you'll play a central role in modernising digital platforms that directly impact how financial advisors and clients interact with investment and advisory services. You'll work across the full technology stack, from backend services and APIs to modern web applications, while contributing to cloud migration initiatives and platform evolution. Your work will support critical business processes, enhance user experiences and improve platform performance, reliability and scalability. This position combines hands-on development with technical leadership, allowing you to shape architecture decisions and drive engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend applications using Java 8 and Spring Boot 2.7 for client and advisor journeys
• Build responsive web applications with React, TypeScript and JSP following modern frontend practices
• Modernise legacy Struts 1.1 applications by migrating capabilities to contemporary frameworks
• Create REST and GraphQL APIs enabling integration across web, mobile and backend systems
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for scalable business processes
• Optimise data access layers across SQL and NoSQL databases
• Establish automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines for quality delivery
• Support DevOps initiatives including build automation and monorepo migration using Maven, npm and pnpm
• Deploy containerised workloads with Docker across AWS, GCP and Azure environments
• Manage vulnerability remediation including CVE management, dependency upgrades and certificate lifecycle
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root-cause analysis to improve platform reliability
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX teams and mobile engineers on feature delivery
• Apply AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
• Design GenAI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions for business workflows
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical documentation and modernisation roadmaps
