Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and deliver scalable solutions for banking and financial services. You will blend solid backend with cloud-native practices, AI-assisted development, and modern React-based frontend skills to build end-to-end platform capabilities.

The role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days at client offices in Kraków or Wrocław, Poland, and opportunities for international collaboration, relocation, and ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+ in microservices.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Kafka.
• Experience automated testing using JUnit 5, Mockito or Testcontainers.
• Familiarity with AI engineering tools and Generative AI concepts.
• Strong English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services with Java/Spring Boot and microservices.
• Develop modern frontend with ReactJS and Redux.
• Deliver end-to-end platform features for banking/FS.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Apply AI-assisted development to improve productivity and code quality.
• Develop automated tests to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
• Ensure solutions align with the complexities of financial ecosystems.
