OBI Smart Technologies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and scale systems powering a modern retail platform. You will own full stack solutions and drive improvements in a cloud-native, event-driven environment.

Responsibilities include building backend services and APIs with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, crafting frontend apps with Vue.js, and designing event-driven architectures using Kafka.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development delivering production systems.
• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Vue.js.
• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and work across teams.
• Strong communication skills in English and Polish, with readiness for hybrid work in Katowice.
